Often used on machine screw and threaded rod for low strength assemblies. They have flat tops with chamfered corners. Bottoms may be flat or chamfered. Conform to ANSI/ASME B18.6.3 (Unless Noted). Mil. Spec. Stainless steel nuts meet. More stringent specifications than other machine screw nuts. All meet MS 35649 (Unless Noted). Material and dimensions meet FF-N-836. Nut are passive (A Nitric acid treatment that creates a passive film to protect against oxidation and corrosion) to QQ-P-35. |
